I'm not afraid of going to the dentist for routine things, however, I am one of those people who have a hard time staying numb. I've tried shots and gas, but nothing works to my satisfaction. As soon as I feel that first twinge of discomfort, my whole body tenses and I start panicing. Imagine how horrified I was to learn that I needed four root canals, and that they were so bad I really needed them done all at once. My previous root canal experience was so bad that I vowed to find a dentist who offered sedation. That's where Dr. Garner came in.
I can't begin to tell you how happy I am with the sedation experience. I had my doubts to say the least, but everything went exactly like he said it would. It felt more like a spa treatment than dental work! I was covered with a blanket, and offered slippers. I don't remember much after that, until someone told me to wake up. I walked out of there (a little foggy), but in no pain. I never even had to take an aspirin. It was like I'd taken a really good nap. I know it sounds silly, but it's the truth.
As I've gotten older my teeth have decided to give me grief. The last root canal will be scheduled in January and I can say without a doubt that I'll be sedated for it.

Dr. Garner and Staff
How do I begin. It was just a little more than a month ago when I mustered up the courage to make the telephone call to your office. I had done some research about sedation dentistry and the name Dental Bliss came to my attention. I went to the website and checked it out. I made the call and I believe it was Janice who talked with me the first time. She calmed my fears and convinced me to come in and meet Dr. Garner. I came in for my first appointment, thinking we would just talk. I expected that Dr. Garner would tell me I was beyond help. I had not smiled in a long time. I was scared during the first appointment but Dr. Garner did his best to make me more comfortable. After an exam he came up with a plan to restore my smile. I knew from that day that I could trust Dr. Garner.
I can not begin to say thank you Dr. Garner for all you have done for me. I have been ashamed of my smile for years. I have covered my mouth when I talked. I knew if you could help me to smile again hat it would be life changing but I had no idea how much. I had started my journey with Dental Bliss and had not yet told any of my family. They all live in another state so it was to be a big surprise for my next trip home. After my top crowns were set I could not keep the secret any longer. I had to email them photos. My sister said she sat at her computer and cried while looking at my pretty new smile. She had not seen me smile for years.
Well now my smile is complete. I have not stopped looking in the mirror yet. I have my self esteem back. I wanted my husband to feel proud of me. He said he has always been proud of me and thought I was pretty but he wanted me to feel it too. Now I do.
Michelle, thank you for your compassion and patience with me. You made all my trips to Dental Bliss so much easier. Well, the sedation drugs didn't hurt either. I know that you worked hard for me and played a big role in my new smile.
Thanks to Dr. Garner and Dental Bliss spa, my life is forever changed. It is just as the ladies up front told me as I came for my first visit and took a tour. You will be glad you came here and will wish you had done it sooner. How true that is. When I first came to Dental Bliss I was very depressed about my appearance. I had no self esteem. I had stopped socializing, and was even reluctant to visit family. Now, I am becoming the social butterfly. I can not wait for my next visit home to Wisconsin to see family. I love spending time with friends.
My only regret is that each time I was there I was on sedation drugs and can not seem to remember each person I had contact with. I will however be back in November for a check up and plan on thanking you all in person then. You will recognize me, I will be the lady with the big smile. Thanks Dr. Garner and also to all of your amazing staff. God Bless you All.

Up until one year ago, dental phobia kept me from obtaining regular dental care. It had been eight years since my last dentist visit. With some bad experiences in the past, I could not bring myself to ever go back. I started havingpain in a tooth with some filling chipped out and I new I had to do something. I started to hear and read about Sedation Dentistry. I began my search for a dentist by surfing the internet, but who would be willing to take care of a person that was desperately afraid of dental work. I found Dr. Randall Garner (Dental Bliss), and studied on the sedation. I Finally gathered the inner courage to make a call to this dentist office. When I arrived at my appointment, I was greeted by dental professionals who understood the very real nature of my fears. A conference with Dr. Garner about the sedation, He assured me I would be sleeping and relaxing through all the work I had to have. I had three root canals, five crowns, several fillings replaced, anddeep cleaning. I was sleeping, but responsive and never had the first pain. It was so easy, I went back and had six upper porcelain crowns. I now can smile without covering my mouth. I look forward to my dentist appointments, thanks to Sedation Dentistry. Thank You Dr. Garner and Staff.

I am a new client at the Dental Bliss Spa and couldn't be more pleased. I needed to have two crowns to replace silver fillings that had cracked. This was the first actual dental work that I needed to have done, other than routine cleanings, of their state-of-the-art equipment and environment. I checked and found they were on my list of preferred dentists for my insurance, so I made the appointment. They got me into the office the same day I called and went back the next day to get the work done. I decided to try their new Cerec crowns which are made by a technician while you watch on the computer and you don't have to get a temporary and go back in a couple of weeks. Everything is done all in one visit! What a concept. I was very nervous about getting the shots, because I hate shots. After Dr. Garner gave me the shots I looked up and asked how he did that. He said, “What?” and I said numb my gums and me not feel anything, no pain, no discomfort, nothing. He just smiled and said it was magic. I have two new crowns that look like my natural teeth, fit perfectly and feel great. Did I mention their offices? Gorgeous. You sit in a very comfy chair in front of a three story glass window and watch the birds and clouds pass by. Quite serene. Oh, and did I mention the complimentary hand massage? The entire staff is so nice, helpful and fun. We laughed and talked and had a great time. Unlike any dental experience, ever. Would I recommend the Dental Bliss Spa? ABSOLUTELY, NO QUESTION!
